AND SO MUCH MORE...
We are absolutely delighted to announce that Louie Flores, a former Federal Government firefighter, a hotshot squad leader, and now a multiple award-winning children's book author and artist, has been recognized as a 2023 NextGen Entrepreneur! Flores's inspiring journey, filled with love, hope, and determination, exemplifies the spirit of the NextGen Business Community.
When the world fell silent under the weight of the 2020 pandemic, Louie picked up his chalk and began to draw. On the pavement and in the driveways of his neighborhood, he created images of love and hope. Each stroke was a message of resilience, a symbol of solidarity, a beacon of optimism amid the enveloping despair.
Louie did not stop at chalk art. He poured his creative energy into his book "Big Love", bringing his uplifting messages from the pavement into the pages of a children's book, which he indie published. Alongside the book, he also created a companion coloring book, expanding the reach of his positive message to more children and families.
Louie's commitment to spreading hope and love during a time of worldwide despair is nothing short of awe-inspiring. His tale is even more heartwarming when you consider that his work was not just a response to a global crisis, but also a personal loss. His book "Big Love" was inspired by the loss of his best friend, Packy the Dog.
Our community salutes Louie Flores, the #PavementPicasso, for his resilient spirit, creativity, and indomitable drive to spread love, hope, and positivity. His work embodies the essence of NextGen entrepreneurship and offers a beacon of inspiration for all of us.
